I’m now thinking about the exhibition ‘LIFE’ ten days after the end.
Many people came to see the show and told me various impressions. Most of them were thinking of their own life in front of ‘LIFE’ pieces on a wall. In other words, they seemed to take my message as a private matter, rather than a social matter. It’s OK however viewers have their own impression, but I can’t help thinking about a peculiarity in Japan. I’m worried that they might become inward-looking and indifferent to society. I hope now these worries are unfounded and groundless. And I’m looking forward to hold ‘LIFE’ exhibition in Europe.
